opening inc., LLC (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) handles personal information collected through “RO PROJECT” and related services provided by the Company (collectively, the “Services”) in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”).
“Personal information” refers to information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan.

1. Collection of Personal Information

The Company may collect the following personal information from customers when they register as members, log in using third-party services, purchase products, or make inquiries through the Services.
Personal information shall be collected by lawful and fair means, with the purpose of use clearly stated.

Phone number

Email address

Password (managed using appropriate methods such as hashing)

Shipping information (including company name, store name, or office name)

Transaction history and details with the Company

Device information

Information related to the use of the Services

Inquiry details

Third-party service registration information (including IDs and profile information from Facebook, Google, LINE, Twitter, etc.)

Information that can identify a specific individual when combined with the above

The purposes for which the Company uses personal information are as follows:

Billing, payment processing, and confirmation related to the Services

3. Restrictions on Use of Personal Information

The Company will not use personal information in any manner that may encourage or induce illegal or improper acts.
The Company will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the stated purposes without the prior consent of the individual.
This also applies to personal information acquired due to mergers or other business succession, except in the following cases:

When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and obtaining consent is difficult

When necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and obtaining consent is difficult

The Company will acquire personal information properly and will not obtain it through false or improper means.

5. Notification of Purpose at the Time of Acquisition

The Company will publicly disclose the purpose of use in advance when acquiring personal information, except in the following cases:

When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or rights of the individual or a third party

When disclosure may harm the Company’s rights or legitimate interests

When cooperation is required for national or local government duties and disclosure may hinder execution

When the purpose of use is clear from the circumstances of acquisition

6. Change of Purpose of Use

The Company may change the purpose of use only within a scope reasonably related to the original purpose, and will notify or publicly disclose the changed purpose.

 

7. Security Measures for Personal Data

The Company takes appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data, and to ensure proper management in accordance with Article 16, Paragraph 3 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

8. Supervision of Contractors

When outsourcing all or part of personal data handling, the Company ensures appropriate supervision through confidentiality agreements or contractual terms.
Personal information may be entrusted to vendors or delivery service providers solely for the purpose of product shipment.

9. Restrictions on Disclosure to Third Parties

The Company will not disclose or provide personal data to third parties without customer consent, except in the following cases:

With customer consent for service provision

When explicit individual consent has been obtained

Exceptions permitted by law

When required by law

When necessary to protect life, body, or property and consent is difficult

When necessary for public health or child welfare and consent is difficult

The following cases do not constitute third-party disclosure:

Outsourcing within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use

Business succession due to mergers or similar events

The Company will make the following information accessible and respond promptly upon request:

Contact point for inquiries

Security measures taken for retained personal data (excluding information that may compromise security)

11. Disclosure Requests

Upon confirmation of identity, the Company will disclose retained personal data or records of third-party provision without delay, unless disclosure falls under any of the following:

Risk of harm to life, body, or property

Significant interference with proper business operations

Violation of other laws

Access logs and non-personal information are not subject to disclosure.

12. Correction of Retained Personal Data

If retained personal data is inaccurate, the Company will conduct necessary investigations and correct, add, or delete the data within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and notify the individual.
Registered members may also update their information via the “My Page” section.

13. Suspension of Use or Deletion

Upon request, the Company will suspend or delete retained personal data if it is handled beyond the disclosed purpose, obtained improperly, or if continued use infringes upon the individual’s rights.
If suspension or deletion involves excessive costs or is difficult, alternative protective measures will be taken.

14. Explanation of Reasons

If the Company decides not to disclose, correct, suspend use, or stop third-party provision of personal data, it will endeavor to explain the reason to the individual.

 

15. Use of Cookies

The Company may use cookies to improve services. Cookies do not identify individuals.
Customers may disable cookies through browser settings.
Cookies may also be used for advertising purposes.

16. Use of Google Analytics

The Company uses Google Analytics provided by Google LLC to analyze service usage.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data.
Users may opt out using Google’s opt-out add-on.

17. Provision of Information to Third-Party Advertisers

Google Ads Enhanced Conversions
Hashed personal data (name, email, phone number, address) may be provided to Google LLC for ad optimization.

Meta Conversion API
Hashed personal data may be provided to Meta Platforms, Inc. for ad delivery and performance measurement.

18. Provision to Third Parties Located Overseas

Personal information may be provided to third-party service providers located in the United States (California), including Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc.

19. Use of SSL

SSL technology is used to encrypt personal information during transmission to prevent interception or tampering.
